The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index decreased by 3.1% to $979 per pound.
In grams, the Spot price was $2.16.
The Alaska Cannabis Spot Index lost 6.1% per pound this week. This is the lowest the state index has reached since the week ending July 19, 2024. Since that mid-summer week in 2024, the state index has averaged 10.3% higher than this week’s price assessment.
After reaching an all-time low on January 17th of this year, the Nevada Indoor Cannabis Spot Index enjoyed rising prices for seven straight weeks. That ended this week, as the grow type index lost 7.3% per pound. Combined with a 4.3% loss in the greenhouse grown flower index, the Nevada Cannabis Spot Index declined 8.2% per pound this week. The state index still remains 12% higher than the year-to-date average.
The Vermont Greenhouse Cannabis Spot Index experienced a decline of 14.2% per pound this week. This marks the second lowest valuation for greenhouse grown flower in the state, only surpassed by the February 21, 2025 price assessment. Additional declines for both indoor and outdoor grown flower pulled the Vermont Cannabis Spot Index down 6.5% per pound.
April 2025 Implied Forward unchanged at $975 per pound.
At $975 per pound, the April Implied Forward represents a discount of 0.4% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $979 per pound. The actual average prices for April and May in 2024 were $1,017 and $1,022, respectively.
