New Mexico continues to show weekly price increases, this week climbing 9.2%. This week’s price assessment is 10.2% greater than the June average.
After 3 weeks of increases, Massachusetts indoor grown flower experienced a steep decline this week under pressure from large numbers of transactions for lower priced greenhouse grown flower.
At $982 per pound, the U.S. Spot Index is down 8.8% this year from the 2023 closing price of $1,077, and averaging $1,020 per pound. The year-to-date low and high of $978 and $1,072 were reached on June 28th and March 22nd, respectively; a spread of $94. For the same period last year, the U.S Spot Index averaged $1,015 per pound.
January 2025 Implied Forward initially assessed at $1,005 per pound.
At $1,010 per pound, the August Implied Forward represents a premium of 2.9% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $982 per pound.
