The U.S. Cannabis Spot Index decreased 3.4% to $937 per pound.
In grams, the Spot price was $2.07.
The Oregon Cannabis Spot Index rose 2.5% per pound this week despite both indoor grown and outdoor grown flower prices declining by over 4%. Greenhouse grown flower prices increased a modest 1.4% per pound. Oregon’s wholesale cannabis index is now only $1 higher than that of Arizona, while still $79 higher than the current Michigan price assessment, the lowest of the 22 state markets reported on by Cannabis Benchmarks.
Wholesale cannabis prices in Montana lost 8.6% per pound this week. Declines in prices for greenhouse grown and outdoor grown flower offset a large increase in prices for both bulk and prepackaged indoor grown flower.
The Vermont Cannabis Spot Index fell 7.0% per pound to close the week. This marks the 3rd straight week of all-time low price assessments for the state. As we head into the final days of 2024, Vermont is one of several states that experienced an over 20% drop in cannabis prices over the second half of the year, joining Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico and Pennsylvania.
January 2025 Implied Forward unchanged at $980 per pound.
At $980 per pound, the January 2025 Implied Forward represents a premium of 4.5% relative to the current U.S. Spot Price of $937 per pound.
